FirstAssist provides an emergency response team for critical incidents and major events such as explosions or multiple victim road traffic accidents.
We provide an immediate and co-ordinated response to major events calling upon the expertise of our medical case managers and trauma counselling team to provide the most effective and appropriate resource to support your clients.
On notification of a major event we will assemble a dedicated team to respond to the event within a matter of hours.
Our catastrophic event management service:
- Responds to the immediate needs of the injured
- Provides support to witnesses and rescuers
- Policyholder support with on-site debriefing and counselling within 36 – 72 hours
- Ongoing support including rehabilitation needs
- A comprehensive review of the incident with those involved including the aftermath and responses to the event with a full de-brief
- A report for the policyholder highlighting future actions and strategies that can be implemented to manage any future rehabilitation and well being issues arising from the incident
We have designed this service to be as flexible as possible in order to address the individual and unique issues that arise from a major event.
