As with our medical and vocational case management services, the resolution of soft tissue musculoskeletal injury and Whiplash Associated Disorder cases follow a biopsychosocial approach addressing acute medical recovery (both physical and psychological) and any vocational aspects.
- Telephone assessment by an appropriately qualified rehabilitation case manager i.e. physiotherapist, nurse, or occupational therapist
- Provision of initial report, recommendations and a goal orientated rehabilitation action plan
- Ongoing management of recovery programmes
- Update and final reports as appropriate
- Self help programmes with:
- Telephone support
- Exercise programmes
- Access to our class leading health and recovery portal
- Face to face physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy assessments and treatment programmes
- Trauma counselling
- Psychological assessments and treatment including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation (EMDR)
- Diagnostic services – X-ray and MRI scans
- Referral to specialist input
- Signposting to emergency support – A&E / GP
